A confidential space to explore the thoughts, feelings and challenges in your life

About me

Hi, I’m Terence. As a Counsellor / Therapist, with a background in Person Centred Counselling this means I focus on creating a safe space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without judgment. I help with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, couples counselling, grief, bereavement, self esteem, self worth, trauma, stress, self care, confidence as well as addictions, anger issues and PTSD.

Together, we can work to find strategies in addition to helping you navigate through your challenges so that you can move towards a more fulfilling life. I offer face to face, online, or over the phone whichever you prefer.

I am an experienced MBACP Registered Counsellor with experience in helping people who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, anger and addictions. I use an integrative approach, meaning I tailor my techniques to best suit your unique needs, focusing on helping you.

I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me with a diverse range of problems. As a fully-qualified counsellor I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, and abide by their code of ethics.

Speak in confidence

Counselling takes place in a safe space, where you can meet with someone who will listen with sensitivity and empathy - and without judgement. In the therapy space thoughts and feelings can be expressed freely and in confidence.

A problem shared...

Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Counselling gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what’s causing these problems - and how you can move towards managing or resolving them.

Make better, healthier new choices

Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.

"I came to counselling during a very difficult period, struggling with depression, anxiety, and identity challenges after facing family rejection and relationship loss. Terence provided a safe, understanding, and culturally aware space that helped me process my emotions and rebuild confidence in myself. His empathy, patience, and insight were life changing. Through our six months together, I learned to accept myself and develop healthier ways to cope. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for compassionate and culturally sensitive support."

“Terence has supported me through very difficult times in my life. Working with Terence has been one of the best decisions I have made for my mental and emotional well-being.

When I first started, I was feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and unsure of how to move forward. From the very first session, he made me feel heard, understood, and supported me without any judgment. Terence created a safe, non-judgemental space where I could openly talk about things I have kept inside for years. Working with Terence has truly been life changing. I have had therapy in the past from different services, but this has really been one of the best.

With his support, I have learned healthier ways to cope, gained clarity about my emotions, and started to rebuild confidence. I am honestly so grateful for his guidance and compassion throughout my counselling journey.”

“Slavery, colonialism, and the wind rush has a multi-generational impact that is difficult, if not impossible to comprehend and measure, the ripple effect is profound, and the trauma often compounded. Growing up as a Dual Heritage man been estranged from my biological father left me with a hand that was quite difficult to navigate.

Terence provided the authentic support, space, and time I needed at a crucial point in my life. He listened non-judgementally and allowed me to off-load and eventually make sense of my standing as a dual heritage man and find a purposeful path forward in my life.

Terence respected confidentiality, acted with integrity, love, and compassion. For this I will be eternally grateful, as I have managed to be there for my children and reduce the level of trauma that they have been exposed to, in addition to supporting other dual heritage young people who are experiencing similar multi-generational trauma.”
